1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Site, submitting a contact or estimate request, or entering into a service agreement with Champaign Concrete & Masonry, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or engage our services.

2. Description of Services

Champaign Concrete & Masonry provides masonry contracting services to residential and commercial customers in central Illinois, including but not limited to foundation repair, chimney repair, tuckpointing, brick repair, retaining wall construction, and related masonry work.

All services are performed at the job site agreed upon in the written estimate or service agreement. We do not accept walk-in customers at our office address. Services described on the Site are provided subject to availability, scheduling, and the terms of a written estimate or contract.

3. Estimates and Pricing

Written estimates provided by Champaign Concrete & Masonry are based on a visual inspection of the job site and the information available at the time of assessment. Estimates are not guaranteed final prices. Actual costs may change if conditions discovered during the work differ materially from what was visible during the estimate - for example, if additional damage is found once work begins.

We will notify you before proceeding with any work that would result in a cost greater than the original estimate. No additional charges will be incurred without your written or verbal authorization.

Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless stated otherwise in writing. Prices are subject to change after the estimate expiration date.

4. Scheduling and Cancellation

Scheduling is confirmed in writing or by phone. We ask that you provide at least 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a confirmed appointment. We reserve the right to reschedule work due to weather conditions, material availability, or other circumstances beyond our control. We will notify you as soon as possible if a reschedule is necessary.

If a project is canceled by the customer after materials have been ordered or delivered, the customer may be responsible for the cost of those materials.

5. Payment Terms

Payment terms are stated in the written estimate or invoice for each project. A deposit may be required before work begins on larger projects. Final payment is due upon completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Accepted payment methods are stated on the invoice. Invoices not paid within the timeframe specified may be subject to a late payment fee. Champaign Concrete & Masonry reserves the right to pursue collection of unpaid balances, including reasonable attorney fees and costs, as permitted by Illinois law.

We do not accept payment through the Site. All payment arrangements are made directly with our office.

6. Warranty

Champaign Concrete & Masonry warrants that all work will be performed in a workmanlike manner consistent with industry standards. Specific warranty terms - including duration and what is covered - are stated in the written estimate or service agreement for each project.

Warranty coverage does not apply to damage caused by events outside our control, including but not limited to extreme weather, soil movement beyond normal seasonal variation, acts of nature, or damage caused by work performed by others after our work is complete.

Except as expressly stated in a written warranty, all services are provided "as is" without any additional express or implied warranty, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Illinois law, Champaign Concrete & Masonry shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to our services or your use of the Site, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to a specific project shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to Champaign Concrete & Masonry for that project.

8. Site Use and Intellectual Property

The content on the Site - including text, photos, graphics, and logos - is the property of Champaign Concrete & Masonry or its content providers and is protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Site content without our written permission.

You agree not to use the Site for any unlawful purpose, to interfere with Site operation, or to attempt unauthorized access to any systems connected to the Site.

9. Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises between you and Champaign Concrete & Masonry related to our services or these Terms, we ask that you first contact us directly to try to resolve it informally. Most issues can be resolved quickly with a phone call or email.

If informal resolution is not possible, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of Illinois, as elected by Champaign Concrete & Masonry. You agree to participate in any dispute resolution process in good faith.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal proceedings related to these Terms shall be brought in the appropriate courts of Illinois.

11. Modifications to These Terms

Champaign Concrete & Masonry reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted to the Site with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Site or our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
